Indian Curry Cooking Class: Vegan and Vegetarian

Master timeless, authentic, and mouthwatering Indian curries.

2.5 hours

Class size 1 to 4 (public classes), 3 to 5
  $120 (Afterpay available)

This class is designed to give you a true understanding of what makes an Indian curry unforgettable. We’ll focus on the foundations—how spices are layered, how flavours are built slowly and how a handful of everyday ingredients can transform into something deeply satisfying.
This class offers a balanced mix of hands-on cooking and guided demonstrations. You’ll get to roll up your sleeves for parts of the cooking, while also watching and learning key steps.
You’ll learn to cook a variety of dishes-all with vegan and vegetarian options- and learn how to adapt them to your own kitchen with ease.
By the end of the class, you’ll know how to trust your instincts, adjust flavours naturally and bring a pot of curry to life.
On the menu: (Two dishes will randomly be chosen for class):
1. Kadhai Paneer/Tofu
2. Kadhi Pakora
Please let us know your preference (vegan / vegetarian) and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.

We learnt so much, how to use and cook with all the ingredients correctly, along with helpful tips and techniques, possible alternative ingredients if necessary. There was plenty of opportunity for us to ask questions along the way and the end result was absolutely delicious so we’ll definitely be making the recipes at home, not to mention being very keen to enrol in some of Puja’s other lessons

Hi! I'm Puja, a passionate plant-forward chef with a deep love for wholesome home-cooked meals that are rewarding for the body. Cooking has been my one true love since childhood. I would spend hours in the kitchen trying to recreate recipes from all the cooking shows I used to watch. I have a diploma in culinary arts and a Certificate IV in Patisserie and over 6 years of experience in the food industry. I specialize in creating nourishing, easy-to-make dishes that predominantly celebrate fresh, plant-focused ingredients and unique flavors. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned home cook, my classes are a joyful space where you can learn, experiment, and bond over food. Food, like love, is all around us - we just need to find the flavors that fill our souls. Join me in the kitchen to create meals that make you feel good inside and out!
