Q: Do I need any embroidery experience?

Not at all! This class is designed specifically for complete beginners. I'll guide you through every step, so no prior experience is needed.

Q: What will I make?

You'll create your own embroidered jumper (for yourself or a little one!), cardigan or blanket using one of my exclusive designs. You'll choose your garment, size, colour and design before the class so everything is ready when you arrive.

Q: Is everything included?

Yes! Your garment, embroidery kit, tools and all materials are included in the class price. You'll also take your complete kit home so you can continue stitching afterwards.

Q: Can I finish my project during the class?

Most guests will complete a significant portion of their embroidery during the session. Larger or more detailed designs may need to be finished at home, but you'll have everything you need, including access to my video tutorials.

Q: Can I come on my own?

Absolutely! Many guests attend solo. The classes are relaxed and welcoming, making them a lovely way to meet other creative people.

Q: What age is this class suitable for?

This class is suitable for ages 12+. Guests under 16 years old must attend with a participating adult.

Q: Can I book with friends?

Of course! It's a wonderful activity for friends, family, birthdays, bridal showers or simply spending quality time together.

Q: What if I want to keep learning after the class?

You're welcome to return to any future Stitch & Chat session using a $40 Return Ticket, where you can continue working on your project with guidance and support.

Q: Who teaches the class?

Hi, I'm Lenore, founder of Elora By Lenore. I've been stitching for over 25 years and previously worked as a qualified teacher before turning my passion for embroidery into a full-time business. My classes combine professional teaching with a relaxed, supportive atmosphere so you'll feel confident every step of the way.

Q: How many are in the class?

Max 20 guests per class; if you would like to book a group of more than 20 please reach out to discuss this further

Q: Can I bring my child?

Children are welcome to attend (Elora may even attend sometimes), however this is not a supervised childcare setting. Parents are responsible for their child at all times and are expected to bring suitable entertainment. Children must not disrupt other participants during the class. Participants aged 12 and over are welcome to attend if a parent or guardian feels they are capable of basic embroidery. Participants aged 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Q: What size garments do you offer?

I offer a range of sizes to suit babies, children and growing families. Jumpers: 0–3 months to 5 years Chunky Knit Cardigans: 6–12 months to 5 years Blankets: 100 cm × 85 cm Adult Chunky Knit Cardigans: Coming soon!

Q: What colour garments do you offer?

Jumpers: White, Peach, Oat, Lavender, Ocean, Mint, Rose, Chocolate & Red Chunky Knit Cardigans: Ballet Pink, Lemon Yellow and Sky Blue (cream coming soon) Blankets: Baby Pink, Rose, Tan, White and Baby Blue.

Q: What embroidery designs are available in your classes?

I run a variety of beginner embroidery workshops throughout the year, with each class focusing on a specific design. Current class options include: -Flower Garden -Teddy Faces & Name -Bees, Butterflies & Bluebirds -Floral Letter or Name & Bluebirds More beginner designs are added regularly, so be sure to check back for new class releases throughout the year.
