Knowledge required
No previous resin art or creative experience is required. This experience is completely beginner-friendly, and you’ll be guided step-by-step through creating your own resin art piece.
What to bring
Comfortable clothing and shoes, a water bottle, sun protection, and a phone or camera for photos are recommended. We provide an apron but recommend wearing clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy during the resin workshop.

Return private bus transport is included from our designated pick-up location in South Perth. Guests will be transported to Jarrahdale Tavern for the resin art workshop and to Millbrook Winery as part of the experience, before returning to South Perth.

Meet Brett and ElenaThe Couple Behind Woodpecker DesignsWoodpecker Designs is the creative partnership of husband and wife, Brett and Elena.Brett founded Woodpecker Designs in 1998 and spent more than 12 years handcrafting quality furniture, with his work proudly featured in furniture stores across Western Australia, including EasyLiving, Souths Furnishings, General Store, Lifestyle Furniture and Habitat Furnishings.Elena moved to Australia in 2006 and Perth has been home ever since. She holds bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and bachelor of Creative Industries (Interior Design) from Edith Cowan University, combining analytical thinking with a passion for creativity. Over the years, she has worked as an Executive Officer, provided private mathematics tutoring and taught children’s art and creativity classes.
