I can’t wait to practice what I’ve learnt! Thank you!
  • 5/5 from Sarah Williams, attended Mar 2025: The class was great! While I originally learned embroidery from my grandma when I was young, I had a few questions about embroidery that would help build my confidence and confirm I was doing things the best way. I learnt the best way to finish off a piece so it was neater and more secure as well as a few new stitches that I'll be using in my future work. I had also never drawn up my own pattern before so this helped me get past that hurdle. I feel like I can now go and make my own original pieces. Thanks Yogi!
  • 5/5 from Ali Kelman, attended Jan 2025: Yogi was very clear and helped me understand the basics of embroidery. She encouraged me to practice where I didn’t quite get the stitches right and explained where I was going wrong. Thank you!
  • 5/5 from Trish Malbon, attended Sep 2024: Great value for money. Tote bag with embroidery supplies. Yogi was great and taught me seven embroidery stitches in the given time for the class. It was so good to get individual attention. The venue was busy but we managed to get a table. Overall really enjoyable and got what I was looking for

Hi, I am Yogi I love to do embroidery. I learnt it when I was young around the age of eight. I still do remember the first time I was so curious to pass the thread through the eye of the needle. I tried a few time and I was so happy when I did it.
Step by step I learnt the way to handle the needle in the fabric. Those were the days when we listened to music and stitched beautiful patterns. I learnt it from school and mainly from my grandma who was an art and craft teacher, we both never really bothered the time.
We spent time stitching together with some snacks on the side and mild music in the background, wow nostalgic. I loved sewing embroidery because it just brought in my creative mind, so indulging, and so on. Now I would love to pass on my skills to everyone who is inquisitive.
