Casual Drop-in Wheel Throwing Class

A relaxed pottery session with experienced guidance on hand

2.5 hours

Class size 1 to 9 (public classes), 5 to 10
$85 (Afterpay & PayPal Pay in 4 available)

If you're stepping up to the pottery wheel for the very first time, looking to build on your existing skills, or wanting to get back into pottery after some time away, our casual drop-in wheel throwing classes are a fun and flexible way to reconnect with clay.
Complete beginners and intermediate potters are all very welcome. These sessions give you the freedom to work at your own pace while an experienced instructor is on hand to offer guidance, answer questions, and help troubleshoot whenever needed. More experienced potters can use the time to practise techniques, refine their skills, or simply enjoy some uninterrupted time at the wheel.
There are no set projects or ongoing commitments—just book into a session whenever it suits your schedule.
Unlimited clay is supplied for use during the session, and pottery tools are available to hire or purchase if you don't have your own.
If you'd like to keep your work, you're welcome to book another casual session to trim, decorate, and glaze your pieces. Alternatively, we're happy to finish your work for you, including trimming, glazing and firing (additional fees apply).
Come along and rediscover the joy of making with clay!

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 5 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the session; if that happens, we'll inform you and let you choose between a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
