What you'll do
Join us for a fun and festive Christmas in July and learn how to make fused glass decorations! Since moving to Australia from Ireland, Joy was intrigued by the notion that people would celebrate Christmas in July. Yes, we agree it's colder than with no snow!So she decided it might be fun to run her Christmas glass fusing class in July where you will create beautiful decorations that will add sparkle to your home or you might like to gift them to someone special this Christmas. In this hands-on class, you will learn how to make your very own beautiful glass pieces. You will make three pieces, one Christmas tree and two others of your choosing, whether it be another Christmas tree, a star, a snowflake or a Christmas jumper.This is a fun and engaging two-hour workshop suitable for all, both adults and children (5-10 years to be accompanied by a participating adult).During the class, you'll have the freedom to let your imagination run wild as you work with a wide array of Joy's handmade glass beads, stringers and noodles.By the end of the class, you can take home your fused glass Christmas decorations to enjoy or gift them in December!
