Fantastic class! Lots of help when needed and beautiful suggestions. Excellent explanation of what to do and how to achieve the best outcome. Really enjoyed Joy’s gentle nature and inspiring studio. Booked class as part of daughter’s school art project, for inspiration and experimental experience.
Such a satisfying thing to do, really looking forward to the finished piece!
Worth every dollar for Joys time and professionalism.

It was quite small class, which was one-to-one. The teacher was so nice and lovely. She gave me inspiring ideas and we enjoyed talking also. It was at detached house. Those materials were beautiful and pretty. I wish I could use all of them. It worth paying for the class as I was provided nice materials and can make good stuffs including process. I liked designing the heart and talking with the teacher

Joy is an absolute delight! She is patient, passionate about her craft! Joy explained the process I would be going through in ‘sculpting’ my glass leaf, having all materials prepared beforehand and there was no trouble in requesting different colours in glass! Her help with the design was suggestive without being intrusive. My finished product is amazing and thoroughly recommend for everyone to do this and any of Joy’s classes!

This was a birthday gift from a special friend and it was perfect! We so enjoyed a relaxed afternoon of crafting in Joy's Studio making our fused glass hearts. Joy is friendly and knowledgeable and makes all her own colourful glass beads for the classes on site. Surrounded by unique and eye-catching pieces, your imagination is stretched in wonderful ways. We chose to frame our handmade hearts and Joy even gave us the option to add a quote or a few words inside the mount. Delighted! Great workshop!

Joy was great teacher and helped guide me through the process of laying out my glass but also let me make my bowl my creation. It was easy and relaxing, and I thoroughly enjoyed the process of creating something unique.
Joy guided me throughout the workshop when I go a little stuck and gave gentle tips on what could be done next to solve to issue.
I would love to do one of her other workshops. I can't wait to pick up my bowl this weekend.
