What you'll do
Have you ever fancied dabbling in glass art? Come and spend a few hours with Glass artist Joy Levins in her purpose built home studio in Belair – bring a friend or family member along and start your new year off with some fun!
During this class, you will create a stunning candle screen (12cm high x 25cm width). The design ideas are endless---trees, flowers, abstract shapes. She will guide you through the whole process, helping you feel relaxed and inspired.
I have over 20 years' experience working in glass, so you are in safe hands. You do not need any glass cutting experience as you will be using pre-cut shapes, stringers, frits, and noodles for many of the decorating ideas. All the glass beads, stringers, and noodles are handmade by me, so every piece you use is totally unique!
*I run my workshops on weekends but if you have another preferred day/date in mind please PM me on this platform - I can then make that date available to you for booking.
By the end of the class, you will have created beautiful pieces that will then be kiln-fired and ready to collect the following week.
