Maybe you are a dab hand at crocheting, or maybe you're more like me and rubbish at all things in the knitting realm?
Although I'm an avid collector of all things crocheted, I never inherited my mum's knitting skills, but I do know how to work with glass. So I experimented and combined the two, resulting in this fun and quirky glass piece!
Chose from a 22cm square dish or a 2-square piece rectangle platter.
I haven't seen this class anywhere else, so at the moment it's exclusively being offered by me, and I hope you'll book in and enjoy this process as much as I do.
Did you know that engaging in an art workshop experience is a proven way to relax your mind, improve your mental well-being by reducing stress, while also boosting your creativity?
Spend a few hours with me in my purpose-built home studio in Belair and have some fun creating this beautiful crocheted-inspired piece in a calm and relaxing environment.
This piece would make the perfect centrepiece for any table or add a perfect eye-catching splash to a coffee table or sideboard.
During the 1-2 hr workshop, you will have the chance to create your own unique plate or dish.
The cost covers a relaxing 2 hour workshop experience, all the necessary materials & kiln firings.
The colour possibilities are endless, allowing you to let your imagination run wild, delighting in your own "I MADE THIS" experience.
My workshops are suitable for total beginners, both adults and children. So no previous glass experience is required. Try your hand at glass cutting and indulge in a few hours of creativity.
I have over 25 years of experience working in glass, and I will ensure that you feel safe and supported throughout the process.
I run my workshops Friday-Monday.
Please message me on this platform if you have another preferred day/date in mind so I can make your chosen date available.
My classes also make a wonderful, unique gift for a special friend or loved one. At the end of the class, your piece will be kiln-fired and ready to pick up in 1-2 weeks.
This is a fun, positive, relaxing, and engaging workshop. Suitable for all, both adults and children 12 yrs+.
Cost includes all prep, materials, tutoring, and kiln firings. Tea, coffee, and a sweet treat are provided.
Please arrive at 11am for your class. The workshop will start shortly after when everyone has arrived. There are some parking spots at my house, or Ambrose Street has plenty of spots and is only a 2 min walk away from my studio.
