Print Paint Pot is born from a pure love for making and creating.

Zena and Elgan are husband and wife and together we have set up a light filled leafy green pottery studio in Artarmon.

With Zena's experience working as a pottery teacher at Bondi Clay and Clay Sydney paired with the support, partnership and hands on skills of Elgan, we decided to take a leap of faith and open a pottery studio in Artarmon offering a range of fun pottery classes and courses.

We are so excited to share our space with a wider community who have an interest and passion for pottery.

We thoroughly enjoyed our wheel throwing class with Georgina. She was super friendly and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. We have signed up for a 5 week course.
We also appreciate the care and attention to detail taken into finishing our pieces from the class.

The teacher was fantastic and went through the process very well. Which enabled me to get it and go on to centre the clay quite well. Loved the whole series of classes, which were well thought out. Studio is lovely and very cosy and well laid out. Terrific experience which I will recommend to others.

The instructor, Zina - particularly enthusiastic, cheerful. She gave very clear instructions which enabled us to follow the process. Very helpful advice, guidance and assistance- very willing and patient! Provided clear examples of each stage - demonstrating expertise. Showed interest in each person and was very encouraging in all our efforts. Generous with her time and handy hints! Elgin worked quietly in the background ensuring that everything ran smoothly in a practical sense - eg alert to when more clay would be needed and prepared it before we even realised we would require it. The whole studio was clean and tidy and our aprons were washed each week. All materials and utensils were provided. Zina abd Elgin - a talented couple who are passionate about sharing their knowledge, skills and ideas. Thanks!

Zena was really helpful and friendly. She makes you feel really comfortable and answers all my questions no matter how many questions I have. She was very patient in teaching me even though I’m not the most patient student.

This course was a absolutely perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Over the 4 weeks we learned all the basics of throwing, trimming, and glazing. We each finalised about 10 pieces and the whole process was really fun and enjoyable. Zena is such a great instructor, explained everything in detail, and was super patient with us. The studio is so cool and has a great vibe, and the playlist always set a good mood.

Overall I think this course is a perfect intro to pottery. I loved it so much I’m going to definitely continue and sign up for more courses with them :)

Zena was such a lovely teacher - she was very calm, friendly and helpful in teaching me and my friend who are both beginners in pottery.
She is very patient and always ready to dive into our pottery questions and concerns - always willing to take time to demonstrate particular pottery moves that we find difficult :)
The course was really fun - spanning over 4 weeks where we spent 2 lessons wheel throwing, followed by a lesson in trimming and then glazing! The pottery turned out amazing in the end. Highly recommend this 4 week's course!

This is one of the best class Bento experiences I’ve done. The teacher Zena is the loveliest, most patient and talented potter (if that’s a word?!) eve and takes time to take you through everything and also save any of your wonkier attempts. The studio is wonderful, it’s full of beautiful creations and a really relaxed, cosy environment. I left with 3 pots and bowls that, when Zena glazed and kilned them (after the class) turned out looking so professional I was thrilled! I will be coming back again for sure!

Zena was such an amazing teacher, she would give us a demo, with clear instructions, at the beginning of each class and then be available to help one on one through out the whole time. The studio is so adorably set up, its a nice and cozy space. Everything we could need was provided for us, and well as visual instructions on a white board when we forgot a step. This class was great value for money and perfect for beginners and intermediates! I can't wait to book again.
