Clay Sculpture Workshop: Make a Human Torso

Join us for this genuine fine art experience (without a life model) in Melbourne

3 hours Class size 15 to 25     label $109

Indulge in a relaxing fine art experience with Imakesculptures in Melbourne and learn how to sculpt a human torso.

Your teacher Irina is a Master of Fine Arts Sculptor whose sculptures will be there for reference, and the photographs presented are made by another fine artist.

Nothing in the space will make you uncomfortable and you will get the genuine taste of fine art sculpting experience.

Irina will go around from person to person to gently nudge your sculpture in the right direction. If you want to receive more in-depth instructions, you are more than welcome to ask.

One of the major differences between applied (such as pottery making) and fine arts is that in the fine arts, there are no strict rules that could make our project unsuccessful or "failed" to serve its function.

This means, that with the right guidance, everyone will be able to create a little sculpture that will undoubtedly have its beauty and artistic features.

Hi, I'm Irina.

I like to introduce myself as a sculptor, although I'm engaged in different art disciplines too. I have never had another profession, nor have I wanted one. I fell in love with three-dimensional art at a very early age which came to me naturally, as I was born in a family of artists. It was the world I've grown up in, a measure of value around me.

I have graduated from Fine Arts, majoring in Sculpture, and with a bit of luck, I had a chance to work internationally and gain great experience in different industries and media. Cooperating with professionals from other creative fields has perfectioned my skills and broadened the views of my artistic expression.

I have tried to gather all the projects I am engaged in on this website, showcase it, sell and teach my art. Always open for the new projects with fellow creatives, just get in touch.
