Cocktail making for beginners

Get your friends together and be a bartender for the day at some of the best bars in Brisbane. Cocktail making can be just as fun as cocktail drinking and is a great alternative to regular bar hopping in Brisbane. Over the past few years, the mixology scene in Australia has exploded and our capital cities are now home to some of the best bartenders in the world. To make sure you can learn from the best and easily find unique things to do in Brisbane, we’ve rounded up some of Brisbane’s best bartenders to teach fun cocktail classes in Brisbane.

Whether you are working full time in Brisbane and want to find fun things to do in Brisbane this weekend, or are a traveller looking to tick off must do Brisbane activities, you will be able to find a short cocktail course to suit you. These different cocktail making classes include everything from gin and tonic tastings, espresso martini masterclasses and healthy cocktail making, to mobile cocktail making classes and beginners cocktail making classes.

What to expect at Brisbane cocktail making classes

Depending on what you are looking for our Brisbane bartenders can customise the cocktail menu for the day so that you can learn how to make classic cocktails like martinis, or more advanced mixology techniques using cocktail shaker recipes. If you are searching for fun corporate team building activities our mobile cocktail classes can come to your office, or if you are looking for fun hens party ideas in Brisbane an experienced mixologist can come to your home and host a private cocktail making class.

These hands-on mixology classes run much like a short bartending course and you will be shown a range of techniques and cocktail shaking skills before you head behind the bar, pick up your own cocktail shaker set and start to experiment for yourself. And the best part is that you get to drink and enjoy as you go!

Social experiences are great for your wellbeing

Cocktail making classes are a relaxed and social way to get together with friends or have some fun at team building events in Brisbane. These classes encourage conversation and bonding between friends (old and new) or colleagues, and this social aspect of the class can help to lower blood pressure, boost mood and improve overall feelings of happiness. You’ll leave these mixology classes with a new skill and all of the knowledge to host your own cocktail party at home.
