$99 - $120 ($99 for Cocktails with Aperitif Board; $120 for Cocktails & Oyster Shucking, with Aperitif Board) (PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Join us for a hands-on cocktail-making class at Uncanny, where you’ll learn to create three classic cocktails (Gimlet, Margarita, and Tiki) before making two of your own choosing. You’ll also have the chance to put your own twist on each drink in a fun, social, and interactive setting. Build, shake, and stir your way through the session as you gain confidence behind the bar and enjoy everything you make.
This experience is perfect for team building, hens' parties, birthdays, or anyone looking for a unique group activity. No prior cocktail experience is needed, making it an easy and engaging option whether you’re coming with friends, colleagues, or flying solo.
Led by our Bar Manager, Sara, who brings extensive international cocktail bar experience alongside a strong teaching background, the class is designed to be both informative and approachable. You’ll learn essential techniques, flavour balancing, and how to customise cocktails to suit your personal taste. Throughout the session, you’ll work with professional bar tools, quality spirits, and fresh ingredients while being guided step-by-step.
To keep you fuelled, we’ll serve Uncanny’s signature grazing boards during the class, and for those looking to elevate the experience, there is an optional add-on to learn how to shuck oysters.
By the end of the class, you’ll not only have enjoyed two cocktails, but you’ll also leave with the skills and confidence to recreate and experiment with them at home.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 4 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the session; if that happens, we'll inform you and let you choose between a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

At Uncanny, we treat cocktails less like recipes and more like small, drinkable experiences. Shaking, stirring, tasting, adjusting. It’s hands-on, a little quirky, and always a good time — built on the idea that anyone can make a great drink with the right guidance and a splash of curiosity.
Uncanny, the small bar with a big vibe, opened in October 2021 by the Bouskila family. As a family-run venue, we pour our heart and soul into every detail, creating a space that feels welcoming, inclusive, and full of life. The décor is eclectic, warm, and cosy — a home away from home — where vinyl spins in the background and the room hums with conversation. The focus is always on community, good people, good food, and great drinks.
Our menu reflects our Mediterranean, European, and Australian roots, designed to be shared and enjoyed together. Behind the bar, cocktails are thoughtfully curated and inspired by decades in the industry, balancing quality ingredients with a sense of play.
That same philosophy carries into our classes, led by Sara. With global bar experience and a strong teaching background, she guides guests through the fundamentals while sharing the small details that elevate a drink from good to memorable.
Whether you’re visiting for a class or a night out, the goal is the same: to create an experience that feels genuine, connected, and worth coming back for. And if you happen to make a cocktail you’re proud of along the way, even better.
