What you'll do

Calling all booze hounds and cocktail queens! Rally the troops and ditch the pub, we’ve got your Friday night sorted.

Shake, strain, stir, and sip your way into the weekend in this hands-on cocktail-making workshop. Under the expert guidance of bartending veteran Rhyan, you’ll learn the fundamentals of cocktail mixology, as well as the secret formula to create your own custom creations. The world is your boozy, delicious, oyster.

We’ll start with the basics, covering the essential (and non-essential) tools needed for kickass cocktails, then get straight into making! You’ll get the chance to learn and make three classic cocktails, a delicious daiquiri, margarita and whisky sour.

Once you’ve nailed the basics and crafted some classics, it’s time for some experimentation, creating your own one-of-a-kind cocktail, tailored to your tastebuds. The best part? You’ll drink and taste all the drinks you make on the night!

A self-professed alcohol geek, from its history to its consumption, Rhyan has been creating drinks for some of Scotland and Melbourne’s most beloved bars. He has a desire to demystify the art of making cocktails, and helping people to know and understand what they’re drinking to a similar level as knowing and understanding what they eat – giving good drinks the respect and attention they deserve.
