About this venue

Welcome to our bright, purpose-designed creative studio, nestled within our family property in Weston, Canberra. Offering approximately 50 m² of flexible workspace, the studio has been thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity in a calm, welcoming environment.

Originally created as a dedicated ceramics studio, the space is equally well suited to a range of creative workshops including painting, soap making, floristry, jewellery making and other hands-on classes.

The studio features painted concrete flooring, tiled walls, stainless steel workbenches and shelving, and abundant natural light throughout the day. Amenities include a large utility sink, kettle, complimentary tea and coffee facilities, and ample 240V power points positioned around the room, including convenient ceiling-mounted outlets for equipment.

The space is clean, practical and highly adaptable, making it ideal for makers, educators, artists and small group workshops looking for a professional yet relaxed creative setting.

I've also got 4x 6ft trestle tables and 20x folding chairs available for use.

You will be required to clean the space after your booking, cleaning supplies are provided.

For other potters wishing to use pottery equipment we've got:

10x student wheels and 1 teacher pottery wheel

slab roller

wall mounted extruder

pug mill

ample handtools, sponges, small buckets, bats etc

electric kiln (firing service extra charge)
