Before the workshop, you’ll send me a few clear photos of your beloved pet. I’ll use these to prepare your 11" x 14" canvas with a pre-sketched portrait, ready for you to paint.
I’ll also help you choose a background that suits your pet and your personal style.

I’ll show you how to select and mix the colours needed for your portrait and guide you through the techniques I use to create beautiful fur, features and details.
Whether your pet is fluffy, smooth, colourful or full of character, I’ll help you capture what makes them special.

Having a few different photos helps me capture their personality, features, and expression when preparing your canvas.Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll let you know how to send the photos to me so I can prepare your canvas before the workshop.What to wearPainting can be a little messy, so please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little paint on.Don’t worry about getting too messy — we’ll do our best to keep the creative fun under control!

At just 13 years old, I painted my first mural for a childcare centre, and although I later studied Graphic Design, life took me in a different direction.
