What you'll do
Have you made some beautiful pottery using one of the Deep Blue Ceramics Take Home Kits, another brand's pottery kit, or just by yourself? Do you want to jazz it up with some beautiful colours and glazing? Or maybe you've been to a class and have some work you've made that you need to finish off.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn what glaze is, what it does, how to prepare your pottery for glazing, how to glaze, and how to prepare your glazed works for the kiln. Don't worry, it seems like a lot to get through, but it's all pretty simple!
You'll have access to use our suite of glazes and underglazes to beautify your work, and firing of the work you glaze is included in this course.
Bring your own bisque-fired work to be glazed (maximum of 5 pieces) or purchase pieces from us at the session to glaze.
Your fired work will be ready for collection approximately 4 weeks after the workshop.

Public dates for this class require at least 5 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class;
in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
