Create a beautiful framed artwork using decorative foils with distinctive metallic shine, colours and textures.
Choose from a variety of design templates provided in the studio, or use your own ideas to create an original design. From florals and animals to traditional-inspired motifs and personal designs, there are plenty of possibilities to explore.
A selection of foil finishes is available, including classic gold-toned decorative foil and colourful textured foils. Choose one finish or mix different colours and textures together to create anything from a simple, elegant piece to something bold and colourful.
The metallic foil catches the light differently depending on the viewing angle, giving your finished artwork a beautiful reflective finish and making every piece feel a little different.
Please note: This workshop uses decorative art foil and does not use real gold leaf.
Not confident with drawing? No problem.
We provide a selection of ready-to-use templates, so you can simply choose a design you love and enjoy creating.
If you have your own idea, you are also welcome to create your own original design. Play with different patterns, foil colours and metallic textures to make the artwork completely your own.
Our instructor will introduce the basic technique and provide guidance whenever needed, while giving you plenty of freedom to create in your own style.
Your Finished Artwork
Each participant will complete one 23.1 × 31.5 cm framed decorative foil artwork to take home.
The finished piece comes with its frame, so it is ready to display at home. Place it on a wall, desk, shelf or sideboard, or use it to add a metallic accent to your bedroom, living room or creative space.
As the light changes throughout the day, the metallic surface reflects differently, giving the artwork its own distinctive character.
Keep it as a handmade memory, add it to your home décor, or create one as a thoughtful handmade gift.
The workshop is also ideal for various group events; our professional staff will work with you closely to work out a plan which suits your preference and budget.

Notes:
  • We prepared a framed backing for each customer, with dimensions of 23.1 × 31.5 cm
  • The completed gold leaf artwork should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated environment, avoiding direct sunlight and high-heat lighting at close range
  • If the gold leaf surface accumulates dust, it can be lightly wiped with a dry cotton cloth. Avoid using damp towels for cleaning.
