Join Rhiannon and the Mountains Gourmet Team at the Bullaburra Garden for a jam packed learning session that will leave you with the fundamental skill to create an edible, biodiverse garden.

This workshop will focus pruning and maintaining your veggie garden to prepare for cooler temperatures and promote a prolonged and bountiful harvest throughout winter! From increasing water holding capacity to seed selection, bring your questions and queries to this hands on workshop!

During the course of the workshop you will learn a range of skills that will help you build a flourishing edible garden in your own backyard. This workshop is a fantastic way to increase food security for your household and family as well as build community connections and increase biodiversity in the Blue Mountains. Knowing exactly how and why you are growing your own food is an amazing tool in this changing economy and environment.

This workshop aims to leave you feeling empowered to grow your own food and share it with others. To get you and your family started on your journey you will go home with a range of seeds and seedlings as well as a Blue Mountains specific growing calendar.

Mountains Gourmet is a young vibrant business with a goal to grow nutritious, climate specific food in every household! We are passionate about connecting people directly to their food, where it comes from and how it's grown.

We do this by growing and supplying affordable, delicious, naturally grown fruit, herbs and vegetables to our local retailers, restaurants and homes and educating those consumers to learn how to grow their own!

Mountains Gourmet hosts local workshops here in the Blue Mountains, private workshops all over the Sydney region and works directly with land owners to achieve their edible garden dreams. Assisting individuals and landowners to grown their own through mentorship programs increases community connection and solidifies our local food system!

Mountains Gourmet was born in 2022 by Rhiannon Phillips, A Blue Mountains local who had previously been managing Certified Organic farms in the Hawkesbury region. Rhiannon saw the need for a more secure fresh food soruces in the Blue Mountains and took the plunge to start her own growing business. After a difficult few years of flooding, bushfires and covid 19, it is safe to say that Mountains Gourmet was born at the perfect time and has been well received throughout the community.
