What you'll do
In this creative school holiday workshop, kids will design and decorate their own keepsake box using fabric, trims, and decoupage techniques.Each participant will receive a pre-made wooden box, which they’ll transform into a personalised piece using a curated selection of fabrics, ribbons, and decorative trims. They’ll carefully layer and adhere materials to both the outside and inside of their box, creating something that feels thoughtful, unique, and completely their own.With guidance throughout the process, kids will learn how to combine colours, patterns, and textures in a way that feels balanced and cohesive—resulting in a finished piece they can use to store jewellery, treasures, or special keepsakes.This workshop is perfect for kids who enjoy hands-on making and working with beautiful materials, and who like to take their time creating something a little more detailed.What Kids Will Learn:
- How to use decoupage techniques with fabric
- How to layer and apply materials neatly to a surface
- How to combine colours, patterns, and textures
- How to finish and assemble a decorative object
- Our secure space is only accessible to participants.
- All instructors have valid Working with Children Checks.
- Parents must drop off & pick up children in person and complete a short admission form.
