Part of the 'Meatless Series, ' this online class will inspire you to cook meat-free meals at home. Eating less animal products is an easy way to make a more environmentally friendly food choice and you do not need to give up delicious, satisfying food!

If you've ever thought that plant-based cooking is "boring" and not as delicious, this might be the class for you! Or if you want to expand your meat-free cooking repertoire, this is is definitely the class for you!

Char Siu is a Cantonese-style barbecue, sweet and savoury on the outside, succulent on the inside. Traditionally made with pork and served with rice and egg noodles... but who says you can't enjoy it without the meat!?

This class will cover:

  • Part 1: An introduction to a plant-based product
  • Part 2: A cooking demonstration and cook along of Char Siu "Pork" with steamed rice, Chinese greens and Cucumber pickles
  • Part 3: How to improve and modify this recipe to suit your taste

Feel free to cook along, or just watch, listen and take notes!

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 10 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.
