Combine your love of Middle Eastern BBQ cooking in this fun, hands-on class in Canberra where you'll learn about BBQ techniques from Lebanese, Turkish, Greek and Arab. You will be shown tips on rubs, timing and temperatures and of course the perfect accompaniments.
Learn about the seven main BBQ regions of the Middle East and the differences between them. Explore techniques such as smoking with charcoal and the shish method to produce mouth-watering dishes!
On arrival to your cooking class, you will be provided with a cold beer and an apron before being welcomed by your chefs for the day. They will outline expected competencies from the session, discuss the format of the day and introduce the menu.
In the class, you and the chef will also prepare fresh meat for smoking to demonstrate and learn the techniques. The chef will cover equipment, the method, troubleshooting and temperatures.
