What you'll do
In this creative and fun short class, you'll learn to take better photos at night.
Make the most of the city of churches, with its colonial architecture and incredible nature views.
You'll learn to get off auto mode and and learn to shoot in manual mode, improve your composition skills, and find the best ISO, aperture & shutter speeds for various conditions.
You'll get challenges to put what you've learned into practice, and get individual photo critiques to help hone your skills.
This class will proceed regardless of the weather, as there are sheltered areas available.
Your Adelaide teacher will be one of the following:
Daniel Purvis is a professional photographer with a passion for capturing the energy, talent, drama and teamwork present on film sets and live productions. When not on set, Daniel loves to shoot editorial and lifestyle photography with a documentary lean, capturing the essence of every moment.
Sarah specialises in people and places, commercial and editorial photography and has over ten years of experience.
Sofia Calado, whose art practise uses photography, video, installation, performance and sculpture as a vehicle for exploring the self and society through the body. She is also a passionate educator and works as a lecturer for the Visual Arts and Creative Industries faculties at Adelaide College of the Arts.
If you are booking for a minor (under 16 years of age) to attend, they must be accompanied by a paying adult
