5/5 from Anne Reardon, attended Oct 2026: My friend and I went to the Art Fair and took part in a watercolour painting class. We absolutely loved it. Everyone was friendly and the artworks were beautiful. A larger space would be good, but I understand that it is not usually held here and would possibly be back in a bigger space next year.
5/5 from Belinda Ketley, attended Oct 2026: Quick subjects, simple but very clear instructions, a lot of experience behind the simplicity. A thoroughly enjoyable learning experience. Thank you.
5/5 from Walsa Fox, attended Oct 2026: Margaret Hadfield's class on acrylic painting was fantastic. In 45 minutes, she was able to very efficiently take us through the basic concepts of achieving the right shades of colour & texture, and of translating a photo into a little work of art. Definitely got some good ideas for future use. Thank you Margaret.
5/5 from Kerry Wode, attended Oct 2026: I enjoyed our 45 minute lesson with Margaret. It was great to take home a small painting of a canola field. My biggest takeaway was using a limited palette to paint the entire landscape and pink in the clouds! Great fun. Thanks
5/5 from Kerry Wode, attended Oct 2026: Painting a little beach landscape was perfect. I was amazed how many skills Caroline guided us through in just 45 minutes. Purple wet sand, sky vs sea brush strokes and creating texture and shadow with limited colour. Even how to load your brush. A great lesson.
5/5 from Michelle Joy Hambly, attended Oct 2026: Really enjoyed the experience, would do it again, highly recommended the class to anyone of any age.

5/5 from Donna Tait, attended Oct 2026: Pastel Seascape with Margaret. Wonderful teacher who explained everything in detail. The atmosphere and location made it very difficult to hear. I would suggest a microphone
5/5 from David J Livingstone, attended Oct 2026: Catherin is a great teacher. It was informative and fun. A a a a a
5/5 from Sharon Buckland, attended Oct 2026: Great taste into the gel plate world. Very hurried though and really needed an hour
5/5 from Donna Tait, attended Oct 2026: Teacher was friendly, patient and excellent at explaining what I had to do Depp by step.
5/5 from Penny Church, attended Oct 2026: Class with Margaret Hadfield was lots of fun. Great to have a taster of the techniques to create an acrylic painting. Thank you!
5/5 from Louise Newey, attended Oct 2026: We learned basic printing using gel plates. Fantastic teacher and the supplies were great. I love the prints I made. Pity it wasn’t a longer session because we felt rushed.
5/5 from Anna Rumble, attended Oct 2026: The presenter and the content were great, though more time would have been better The venue was quite crowded Thank you
4/5 from Julia Schindo, attended Oct 2026: The class was great and Linda was a clear and articulate instructor. I left feeling like I’d learned something new really easily thanks to her. The class did feel rushed to me (45mins) and I would have enjoyed it more with more time. I’d suggest minimum 90mins to be able to come away with a design you can feel good about.
4/5 from Helen Cheung, attended Oct 2026: Good fun for a beginner with some good tips from the teacher. Time went very quickly and reasonably priced to give something new a go.
4/5 from Andrea Dean, attended Oct 2026: Too short a time. Perhaps art materials could be prepared before the class thank you
4/5 from Gemmi Favetta, attended Oct 2026: A family getaway. Art work shop, far to quick in time and crowed behind our seats.? Far to crowed disappointing that the artwork was not shown to its potential. I had gone with the intention of purchasing but the pushing and shovelling from the crowd had put me off. Some wonderfully talented artists would have like to stay a lot longer to view their work so I could to purchase. Hopefully next year you will have a much bigger venue.
4/5 from Helen Athanasiadis, attended Oct 2026: I attended two classes - watercolours and chalk landscape. Both teachers were great - enthusiastic and talented. It was lots of fun playing with new mediums and learning new techniques. The only downside - too noisy and hard to hear instructions. A designated room would be great. A 1.5 hour class would also work better if possible, so the classes aren’t as rushed. Thanks for a good few hours
4/5 from Melissa Lee, attended Oct 2026: The teacher was lovely. The workshop was a bit rushed, lots to squeeze into 45mins. Some more instruction would have been helpful, for example how to use colours and shades to provide depth and structure.
3/5 from Cheryl Rule, attended Oct 2026: Way to cramped and noisy for my art workshop, couldn’t hear her properly, and too short a timeframe. Loved the exhibit but felt for the artists who also were unable to hear you speak and way too cramped.
3/5 from Sharon Koh, attended Oct 2026: I enjoyed the class but the time was short and felt rushed. Couldn't see the artist demo very well but she was friendly when I asked questions, and sometimes walked around to give us a closer look. Wasn't much time for this or explanations though. Class price was good and affordable.
3/5 from Gillian Helyar, attended Oct 2026: Very noisy and distracting venue and cramped also. Teacher was fine but it was hard to get the full benefit in a short time in this environment.
3/5 from Tu Pham, attended Oct 2026: It was a bit rush with the short session. It was also very noisy today (Sunday) and it was difficult to follow Margaret’s instructions.
