Join Simone Agostino, Perth local cookbook author, for a hands-on afternoon of fresh handmade pasta and traditional Italian cooking.
Simone will guide you through the history and regional origins of each dish, helping you understand the story behind the pasta you make. By the end of the class, you’ll not only have hands-on skills but also a deeper appreciation for authentic Italian pasta traditions.
You’ll learn traditional dishes such as spaghetti alla carbonara, pasta alla vongole, or pasta with broccoli, anchovies and chilli from Puglia. Each recipe teaches how less is more and how minimal ingredients and simple techniques can create bold, authentic flavours. Through hands-on practice, you’ll discover the essence of Italian home cooking and experience the kind of food you would enjoy at a table in Italy.
