Welcome to the world of pottery painting!Are you ready to unleash your creativity and explore the art of pottery painting? In this workshop presented by Ceramics by Hannah and Belmont Potters Group, you will learn how to turn plain pieces of pottery into beautiful works of art that you can proudly display and use in your home.Available for private functions - please get in touch to discussWhat sets this class apart from other pottery painting classes is that you get TWO pieces of pottery included in the class price (in most places you have to purchase these items separately). But in this unique offering, expertly hand-crafted ceramic items are included.You will receive one cup and one small plate to decorate during your class. Should your creative juices need more sating, there will be more items you can decorate at an additional price (payable on the day), but you are not obligated to purchase anything extra.Now don't worry if you've never tried pottery painting before – this class is perfect for beginners! You'll be guided through a short demonstration of various pottery techniques, including sponging, colour blocking and how to achieve positive/negative space.You will have full access to high-quality brushes, sponges and paints to bring your artistic vision to life. At the end of the class, we will glaze your work and it will be glaze fired in the on-site kiln, after which it is yours to take home.
