What you'll do
If you are looking for a fun, unique, and creative way to celebrate a birthday, hens or get-together, then this private hand building class is for you!
What would you like to make? A mug with a handle, a dipping bowl set, a cute vase for your home, or a breakfast set? Whatever you choose, your teacher, Mar will guide you to handcraft two pieces using different hand building techniques like pinching, slab building and coiling.
Hand building is a great way to do something different with your loved ones and spend quality time bonding over clay.
By the end of the class, your finished pieces will be fired, glazed and re-fired and then available for collection from our studio approximately three to four weeks after the party.
Note: These private classes are hosted in our cosy studio in Goodwood. We can also offer classes at your home or another location; please contact us to discuss this option. This is a private class for small groups of two to six people.

What to bring
We would recommend that you wear an apron or an old shirt over your clothes. Clay can usually be washed out but can get messy!

Working with clay help us to slow down and be present in the moment for a few hours. It is fun, relaxing and it encourage us to be creative!
