- 5/5 from Rochi Ronchino, attended Oct 2026: We went with a group of friends just to have some fun and try something different, and it turned out to be such a beautiful experience! We all got to make stunning rings with the help of Alfie and Delfi, who are both such lovely people. The space is amazing, and they even treat you to a delicious grazing platter while you make your ring! What I loved most wasn’t just making my own ring and learning something new, but the whole experience they created. The way they guided us with so much kindness, patience and care really made it special. Couldn’t recommend it more! ️
- 5/5 from Scott, attended Oct 2026: Thank you Alfie for having us! Really enjoyed learning more about ring making and all the knowledge and helpful instructions you shared. Such a great vibe and lovely studio that you have. Looking forward to getting our rings back (and coming back for another class soon!). Very cool!
- 5/5 from Pip Glinn, attended Oct 2026: We had so much fun making our rings! Alfie was a great teacher guiding us through carving the wax and encouraging us to be creative with our designs. We can't wait to get our finished rings back and are already planning what we should make next

Alfie and Delfi were super attentive the whole way through, patient with our questions and always ready to help. The atmosphere was amazing: relaxed, fun and really welcoming. Highly recommend!
- 5/5 from Nico Solveyra, attended Oct 2026: I just wanted to spend some time to relax and enjoy with friends learning something different. Awesome experience and highly recommended. Adolfo was great in every moment and made everyone enjoy the moment. I will definitely do it again.
- 5/5 from Santi Schenone, attended Oct 2026: Such a fun and unique experience! Adolf made the whole process easy and enjoyable, and I left with a ring that has a story behind it. Highly recommend if you're looking for something a little different!
Your teacher
I’m Alfie, the founder of Haina, a handmade jewellery brand inspired by organic shapes, imperfections, and the idea that no two pieces should feel exactly the same. I started working with jewellery through Haina, designing rings and learning the process behind turning an idea into a finished piece. Alchemy was born from wanting to share that process with other people in a way that felt relaxed, social, and accessible - even if you’ve never made anything before. What I love most about teaching is seeing everyone start with the same piece of wax and finish with something completely different. There’s no right or wrong way to make your ring, and that’s usually where the best pieces come from. I’ve now hosted Alchemy workshops for private groups, birthdays, and corporate teams around Sydney, and I still love seeing what people come up with every session. My workshops are less about making something perfect and more about slowing down, using your hands, having a drink, meeting people, and creating something that’s completely your own.
