I really enjoyed Dianne's class. It's so clear she has incredible expertise in the subject matter. I had a lot of fun with the mixing. Her encouragement is authentic but she also gives great advice as you go. My only thing is, I wish there was ambient music to fill the space. Doesn't need to be radio - just some light jazz. Also, it would be great to have more time on the final canvas. Overall, loved it. I'll book again with Dianne at workshop.

I did the intermediate course as someone who has thrown before but not well. I wanted to learn how to create height, different shapes and centring. Esther and Anna both taught me this plus more. My first class it was one-on-one which I was nervous about this but I learnt so much. Esther was so patient and easy to understand. My second class I bought a friend who was a complete beginner. Anna was great at managing both of us whilst giving me more intermediate tips that helped me improve so much.
I've done many classes at various other studios and I loved this venue the most. I loved the animals, the little shop and the nature. It is also extremely affordable in comparison to other studios. The only downside which is just on me and not Windmill Pottery is that I'm terrified of wasps and there was a lot of them due to the farm-like environment. Esther was great with this and killed some of them for me.
I am so excited to go back to glaze my work. Thank you so much to Windmill Pottery and Paul for the fantastic online communication. :)
