This class was so enjoyable and therapeutic. I think the other ladies who came with friends and family felt the same.
I was late because there was no parking in the basement (4hrs). Ground parking is only 90min but it should be sufficient.
The flowers are seasonal. The class was held at the back of the shop and the teacher was super friendly, easygoing and informative.
We all got our vases of flowers to take home and were offered boxes so the flowers didn't tip over in the car. So thoughtful!

It was a fantastic introduction to week throwing. Most of us didn't have any prior experience. We were warmly welcomed and the teacher was patient, easygoing and attentive. He gave us the freedom to do our own styles, which I appreciated because I have arthritis. So my pieces came out wonky, which he called artistic. We have to return in 1 week to collect our pieces. We each get 4 pieces to take home and additional 1 costs $5.

I've been looking forward to this workshop for months. Always wanted to try glassblowimg after visiting so many glass museums.
The workshop exceeded expectations. I was nervous because I have arthritis and chronic fatigue. I often drop things and can't grip things well. But Ruth was so patient and calm. She made me feel completely at ease.
It was the right balance of demonstration and hands-on learning. As a bonus, we each got two pieces of beautiful glass artwork to take home.
After this beginner workshop, I hope to do the intermediate one.
