We had a fantastic time on our 5 week introductory course for wheel throwing! Amy set out a curriculum covering everything we needed to know to go from zero to first pot, and we were on the wheel right in the first session making real things that we trimmed and glazed later. Amy was super friendly and an excellent teacher, and demonstrated the techniques herself before giving us observed guidance on how to improve our own technique. I really like the perfectly balanced learning atmosphere which had enough space to build the peices that we were inspired to try whilst also having a clear direction of what we should be learning. Amy's studio was also fantastically well equipped and our class of 6 an ideal size. All in all this course was the highlight of our week and we're really looking forward to continuing ceramics in the future!

Lovely class with the excellent Alessandro in a spacious and airy training kitchen. We learned how to make fresh egg papadelle and then cook it into a cacio e pepe style dish! Alessandro made everything very simple and everyone seemed to effortlessly be able to make their first homemade pasta! Even better, we had two more portions left each to take home. Absolutely loved the experience and we are now completely hooked so will need to buy oursevles a pasta rolling machine haha.
