Take your sewing to the next level in this full-day workshop focused on garment construction.
This is an engaging, hands-on session that builds your skills in cutting, shaping and assembling a garment. As always, your instructor will guide you through the steps.
This class is designed for advanced beginners who have already successfully completed at least one garment following a pattern.
A Note on Timing:
This is a new class and we estimate it will take 5.5 hours, however, it is hard to say exactly at this stage since we're in the early days of running this class. We will have a better idea after 1st February.

Knowledge required
Advanced beginner: you have sewn at least one garment, and can independently wind a bobbin, thread the machine, follow a seam allowance, and sew straight lines.
What to bring
Please bring one of your existing tshirts with you, one that fits well, particularly in the length. We'll use this to set the length of your pattern.

Our story began in 2018 in a small Redfern studio. With only one desk and one sewing machine, our first class was published and we haven't looked back. Our passion for the arts coupled with bringing people together, brought our vision of launching a creative hub to life.
In our modern world, everything moves quickly, we have adapted to a fast-paced environment and sometimes it can be hard to slow ourselves down. Sydney Creative is a place for people to relax, regroup and find a creative outlet that will hopefully aid in bringing people a sense of achievement, fulfilment and joy.
Today, our classes run from our own venue in Redfern. We run lots of different creative classes from Sewing to Jewellery, painting and lots more, we love following the trends and developing new classes for our customers to enjoy.
