Join this fun hands-on jewellery making workshop in the Blue Mountains and walk away with a beautiful spinner ring that you have created with your own two hands!
You'll be using sterling silver, as well as brass and copper wire if you prefer a mixed metal look.
You will be guided through the process of creating your own silver ring from scratch with the guidance of an expert. You will be able to personalise your ring design with textures, patterns and letters too!
In this hands-on experience, you'll learn the basics of jewellery making including annealing, sawing, filing, soldering, shaping and forming, texturing, combining your rings and polishing.
This workshop is great for those who have a little bit of experience in jewellery and preferably have taken one of Fran’s other jewellery workshops.
Set in the Blue Mountains, Ladybird Studio / Karinya has expansive views over a valley of trees and the property backs onto the national park.
BYO your lunch, take a break, enjoy the view from the studio and chat with other class participants.
Please note: The workshop will only go ahead if there are two or more participants - anyone booked will be moved to a new date that suits them.
This workshop is suitable for those who have previously completed other silver workshops or have a little bit of experience with jewellery making.
