Our teacher Peter was very patient and explained things clearly. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wishes to know more about iphone cameras.

I was able to work with Alfonso and the team on that, although Alfonso was prepared to reimburse me if need be. The instructor on the day was Peter Zuvela. Again, we had showers of rain, but he worked around that by teaching the technical material in his workshop. That was at J Shed in Fremantle. Then we spent time walking in Fremantle. Peter's a nice guy and very professional. He knows his topic and is very good at both passing on his knowledge, and finding opportunities to practise the techniques. I learned a great deal. I enjoyed walking through some of the back alleys, the streets and the Fremantle Markets. Peter specialises in a 'Haunted Fremantle' tour. We did some of that, but since I was more interested in the technical we of the Smartphone camera he 'focused' more on that. Some of the topics we covered were: setting up the phone to capture the most pixels; use or not use of the flash, versus natural lights; creative use of the lenses, particularly wide angle and isolating the subject with background blur; use of the built- in filters; auto focus and exposure locks; capturing movement; multiple photographs and angles from one spent; and, on-phone editing techniques. I enjoyed any time with Peter and learned a lot. What more can you ask for?

Peter, was clear with his information and took the time to show the group how to get the best out of the photo we were taking. Fremantle was an ideal venue particularly as the weather was very good and there lots of people around and any number of great photo opportunities. certainly came away feeling the course was good value for money.

The class was well paced, strolling around Fremantle and taking shots, talking about tricks and options on the phone, then sitting and discussing them at various points along the way. One suggestion I just thought of would be when describing the phone/camera notes have them on a written step by step laminated form to hold up to the class so all can see easy. Often we stood in bright areas and was awkward to see. Thank You

I have used Snapseed before so wasn't a complete beginner. In some ways I would have loved more information on a deeper level of Snapseed editing but this course is perfect for beginners who are looking at bringing life, edge and style to their photography.
