The setting was great in four different locations in the city centre. The leader was friendly and informative and she encouraged questions and made sure we all had feedback. The instructions were easy to follow and very useful.
The group size was perfect, just the four of us.
We learnt a lot of useful skills to improve our phone photography and have enjoyed using these skills already. Thanks

Our teacher was very friendly and I enjoyed the couple of hours we had together.
I felt I learnt enough to use the camera on my phone more effectively and was pleased to know how to edit my shots.
The class was fun and informative.

Sarah’s class was well planned and included interesting locations to focus on different aspects of photo composition. Sarah also showed the group different camera functions on their phones at each place, and we were able to experiment and implement them at our own pace. Exploring Snapseed as an editing app was done in a friendly group environment with plenty of time to experiment with its features.
This class was excellent value for money and catered to all levels of interest.

you could download the app and do this yourself. It was mostly walking around and taking photos of things and then playing with the app. Didn't learn much. No fed back from the photos taken after the 2nd place visited. would not recommend this as knew most of it and my daughter already knew this and was showing me how to use the app and things

Teacher's response

Appreciate your review despite being the first ever 3 stars (usually 4-5 stars). On the photo walk all my photo tutors are highly skilled at teaching. Feedback about your own photos is always available but not forced. Sorry to hear about your experience. Alfonso

Dan was very knowledgeable and encouraging to students of various levels.
I appreciated learning more about editing photos, something I’ve not done before. Dan give hints on lighting, contrast, shadowing and looking at things from a totally different perspective when framing photos. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would highly recommend it.
Unfortunately it was a very hot day and I was fading a bit by the end of it.
Nevertheless, very, very worthwhile.
I edited the photo below and like the table tops which are like stepping stones, leading to who knows where.
Thanks Dan!

Daniel was very knowledgeable and a great teacher. It was great being in a small group as you got plenty of one on one time. The areas we visited to take photos were great and I particularly enjoyed the botanical gardens. I really enjoyed learning about how to edit photos.
