  • 5/5 from Jessica Kahan, attended Oct 2026: This class was fantastic. Fei made it so easy to understand. Making sourdough is something I have wanted to do for a long time. It always just seemed to hard to start. But this class made me excited and feel like I can work the steps to do it. Highly recommend
  • 2/5 from Madhulika Madhulika, attended Sep 2026: Disappointed with the sourdough masterclass, especially given the steep price. The information was incomplete, and the notes/booklet provided were not detailed enough to answer many of our questions. Even today, when we bake, we still find ourselves turning to ChatGPT for answers that I expected the course material to cover. For the price, I expected much more comprehensive information, practical guidance and useful reference material. Overall, I found it to be poor value for money.
  • 5/5 from Lee Yen Ng, attended Aug 2026: Unlocked a new skill today: making sourdough! The teacher was incredibly patient and knowledgeable ️Another wonderful day!"
  • 5/5 from Julie Wearing-Smith, attended Aug 2026: Fei was a lovely class leader, it was interesting and easy to follow. We got to be hands on which was great and there was the opportunity to taste the bread and focaccia.
  • 5/5 from Diana Spurritt, attended Jun 2026: Great teacher, excellent preparation and friendly atmosphere
  • 5/5 from Niki Heath, attended Jun 2026: Brilliant course, step by step instructions. Learnt a lot and had a lot of fun along the way
  • 5/5 from Debbie Sheppard, attended May 2026: Fabulous class, well planned and timed class. Great notes and resources. Came home with a very happy starter and lots of enthusiasm. I have been practising what I have learnt and had success with all my loaves. Just can’t eat them all, lucky I have friends who love sourdough bread. Thank you Fei, you have a well planned class.
  • 5/5 from Narelle Meek, attended May 2026: Fai was a wealth of knowledge and tips. Class size of 10 was perfect with everyone getting sufficient time for any questions or support. Food samples were great. Fai has obviously put a lot of preparation and thought into this class so participants get as much out of it as possible.
  • 5/5 from Cathie Morrison, attended Apr 2026: Such an enjoyable class, very welcoming, learning in a relaxed way with a small group, Fei was great, happy to answer questions and great notebooks to refer to when baking at home. Lovely to take home dough for 2 loaves and to try Fei’s bread! Now for practicing the process at home, thank you
  • 5/5 from Shlomit Rubinstein, attended Mar 2026: Had a very good time at the lesson today. Fei explained everything very well and showed us all the different steps involved. Thank you!
  • 5/5 from Limor Glazer, attended Mar 2026: I really enjoyed this class. The teacher was very knowledgeable and it was great fun! We ended up with a starter and dough to bake two loaves at home! Thank you so much!!!
  • 4/5 from Garry Swaine, attended Mar 2026: I attended the Sourdough class last Saturday afternoon with teacher Fei & really enjoyed the experievce. I baked my first loaf at home later that afternoon & it turned out really well although tending to the burnt side of things. Tasted great!! Teacher Fei was excellent & answered all questions without hesitation. My only slight problem was actually hearing Fei, but this is probably due to my advanced age - late 70's!! I'll keep baking!! Regards Garry
  • 5/5 from Sarah Philips, attended Feb 2026: The facilitator was well prepared and presented the class in an organised and efficient manner. The hands-on experience was invaluable and the location was suitable for the class. The group size of 8 participants was ideal too, as it allowed all participants to ask questions and receive support from the facilitator. It would have been helpful to receive the bread proofing basket and bread lame as part of the class fee, or as an option to purchase at the class.
  • 5/5 from Vivien Grozdanovic, attended Nov 2025: A great class. Fei provided clear instructions and answered all questions thoroughly. The loaf baked loaf during the class was impressive!!!
  • 5/5 from Alesha Prasad, attended May 2025: Fay was a great teacher, she had the work stations set up prior to our arrival, was very attentive and detailed in her explanations throughout the class, and had also thought ahead and prepared loaves for each of us earlier so we could practice the later stages of bread-making with her (normally you would have to wait overnight!!). I would’ve liked to take home the proofing basket that we got to use but Fay explained alternatives for us to use if we didn’t have it at home. All in all, I really liked all the inclusions that we had in this class: an instruction booklet, sourdough starter to take home, 2 loaves to take home and bake, hands-on experience, a small class size so easy to follow along and get 1-1 time with the instructor and afternoon tea! We also purchased 2 flour shakers from Fay for $5 each at the end of class, which saved us the hassle of going to find them another day. Thanks so much, we feel much more equipped to go and bake!!
  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Mar 2025: Fei was very friendly and the class was great fun! It was well structured so we could get hand-on experience on all stages of the bread making. Highly recommend!
  • 5/5 from Cass Vignolini, attended Mar 2025: Absolutely loved this class. Fei was welcoming, friendly and full of knowledge. The class covered everything from start to finish and there was plenty of time to ask questions too! Highly recommend.
