Have you heard how good sourdough bread is but have no clue on how to start? Come and enjoy a great experience learning how to make sourdough bread and afterwards, enjoy a glass of organic wine and Italian-style bruschetta.

In this hands-on class, you will create a great loaf of delicious sourdough bread from scratch, without the use of fancy or expensive equipment.

Over three to four hours, you will learn:

  • What sourdough is
  • How to create your own culture of sourdough starter
  • How to maintain, feed and store it
  • The various health benefits
  • How to incorporate sourdough baking into your busy schedule
  • How to proof bread without a proofing basket (banneton)
  • How to bake with and without cast iron dutch oven
  • Tips and tricks for a perfect scoring

There are so many benefits of making your own sourdough bread, like allowing you to know exactly what ingredients are used in your bread. ️If you are gluten intolerant, you will be able to digest this bread easily without upsetting your stomach. Plus, it also saves money too!

After the class, you will leave confident with this new skill of making sourdough bread at home and you will never want to buy store-bought bread again.

Please note: Only organic flours are used in this workshop and you will have an opportunity to buy them at the end.

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, birthday, hens party or bucks party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 11 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.

Highly recommended! Chef Roberto is very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and presents a scientific approach in a very simple and fun way, learning all there is to learn about Sourdough and how to make the best loaf!
Everything was provided, we even got to keep items to make our next loafs, as well as taking home two loads ready to bake.
Over 3.5hours, we learnt and prepared our own loaves, before eating bread that was baked as we started. From start to finish, it was a great class, highly recommended And you get your own starter to take home. Very worth the time and money
