What you'll do

Whether you are looking for a hobby to make gifts or want to start a new creative side hustle, come along and join us for a fun crafternoon!

What you will learn

Everything you need to know about wax, soap, salts, wicks, fragrance and colour.
How to make a soy candle.
How to make tea light candles.
How to make soy melts.
How to make and decorate melt and pour soap.
How to make bath scrubs and bath salts.

In this class, you will learn the basics of candle making, soap making, bath salts and scrub making. You will also have choices of small crystals, dried flowers, botanicals, gold leaf and seashells to decorate your beautiful creations.

Believe us when we say you will never want to buy candles, a bar of soap or bath salts from the store again!

All materials are included: botanicals including rosebuds, lavender, shells, small crystals, gold leaf and fragrance.

At Holistic Psychology, we aim to help you with all things creation,relaxation and fun!

Did you know that creativity improves brain function?

Left brain activity is all the logical stuff and right brain activity is activating your creative spirit. This isn't woo-woo stuff, this is science.

Scientific evidence suggests that CREATIVITY has an impact on brain wave patterns, emotions, the nervous system and can raise your serotonin levels.

Serotonin is the key hormone that stabilises our mood, feelings of well-being, and happiness and let's face it, we could all use more of that, so our workshops are created to support your health and wellbeing.

Our founder Trudy Vesotsky, has been teaching in the areas of Behavioural Psychology, Business Development and Grant Funding for over 20 years.

When she lost her memory for four years, she took to mindfulness techniques (meditation, journalling, tai chi), creative art, crafts and cooking to fill her time. She believes that these were some of the best therapy exercises ever and soon after went on to run workshops in a range of topics.

She has taught 200+ Behavioural/Holistic Psychology workshop topics and she has also taught jewellery making, soy candle making, dry clay trinket making classes, soap making, vision board creation, flower arranging, colour therapy, digital creativity, painting and much more.

She believes that if we want to thrive in life (not just survive) we should practice ensuring that we enjoy a balanced lifestyle and that means, learning, creating, resting and play.

She loves cooking (yes she is Greek and loves eating lol) so we will also be offering cooking classes and we are very happy to have her son Michael join us to run his famous and delicious Vegan cooking classes.
