Enjoy the online class - after booking, you'll get a pre-recorded video with instructions. You're welcome to ask the teacher any questions you have.

What you'll do

Do you have an eye for all things artsy? Take your soy candle making experience to another level and join this livestreaming Zoom class with Vishakha.

You will receive everything you would need in your DIY craft kit to make a beautiful Mother Earth candle in the comfort of your home. Including the Mother Earth silicon candle mould so that you can make many more Gaia Goddess candles later on your own or even make and sell some on Amazon.

Your teacher will then meet you online in a Live zoom class to take you through the process of making 100 per cent natural soy wax candle. Then, hand-paint your goddess to give them their deserved character.

After the class, you would also receive our digital booklet covering the basics of making any soy candle so that you can make some more Gaia Goddesses (or any other shape of soy candles for that matter) on your own in future.

What you'll get in your craft kit

1 x beautiful Gaia Goddess/Mother Earth silicone candle mould
100 per cent natural organic soy wax sourced from a registered Australian supplier (makes two candles)
Fragrance oil Lemongrass and Sage (10 ml)
Fragrance oil Patchouli and Musk (10 ml)
Pouring plastic jug
2 x candle wick
1 x thermometer
1 x wick holder
1 x wick holder peg
1 x wooden stirrer
1 x painting kit

What you'll need

You will need two heating pots/pans and a gas stove to make a double boiler to heat the wax. It's best to get our aluminium wax melting and pouring jug (see add-on).

I have always had that intuitive urge to 'create' something with a purpose: a new vegetarian recipe, a cake that would still be calorie-friendly, a soap that would nourish my skin with essential oils, a paining that would tell a story of my childhood, a candle that would smell divine?

By day, I am a fulltime ICT Professional helping product teams build great software applications that deliver an awesome User experience. In my moonlight hours and occasionally on weekends, I enjoy this experience of facilitating crafts workshops at my adorable apartment thereby follow my own passion (thank God I found a way), do what I love (or else no point yea), exercise my entrepreneurial skills (or at least I would think so), stay emotionally healthy (this one is real), meet new people (when Sydney reportedly is world's 3rd worst city to make new friends), and do my bit of promoting mental health.

In my journey of hosting the picnics, cooking, baking, fitness and crafts experiences in Sydney, I have come across a range of creative people, many of whom discovered things to be a fun hobby and some who have taken it further and started selling stuff online.

My pursuit of the little joys of life continues as I look forward to share these experiences with you!
