What you'll do
In this relaxed and inspiring class, you’ll explore a beautiful variety of stitches including French knots, weaving, Turkey work, and adaptations of long and short stitch. Working onto a heavyweight linen square using a simple gridded layout, you’ll layer hand-dyed wool yarns and threads to create a richly textured embroidery piece.This workshop is perfect for returning stitchers looking to try new techniques, play with texture, and enjoy a few hours of mindful creativity. Beginners are very welcome too – the project is designed to be creative, achievable and adaptable at any skill level.You’ll leave the class with a work-in-progress embroidery piece beautifully framed in a bamboo hoop, plus extra thread to continue your stitching journey at home.Please note: All bookings for this workshop are final and strictly non-refundable. However, if you're unable to attend on the day, you can send someone in your place. In the unlikely event that we don't reach the minimum number of participants required to run the workshop, we may cancel the class. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule if new dates are available.

Rebecca grew up in a large family where money was tight, after school activities where mostly homegrown and usually involved a sheet of cardboard, a glue stick and some glitter!
