  • 4/5 from Judith Peters, attended Apr 2024: Hi,  I attended a Thai cooking class on Tuesday night and thoroughly enjoyed it. My mum died a week ago and so it was a lovely distraction for a couple of hours amidst funeral preparations!I find cooking quite calming so this was perfect as our chef, Mark, was easy to follow, had a quick wit and provided lots of encouragement. It was his birthday,  so that demonstrated, along with his demeanour, his genuine enthusiasm for cooking. The recipes were interesting and I learnt about a few ingredients I've not used before. We were so full we had to take some home for our husbands to try.The venue was pleasant and easy to work in and we got to see every dish being prepared. There was parking next door and the night finished on time, which was great.Ill be back to learn some more! Many thanks

  • 5/5 from Lisa Green, attended Oct 2023: I had the immense pleasure of participating in Chef Mark's Thai cooking class on Monday night, and it was nothing short of a culinary adventure. I am delighted to share my heartfelt gratitude for the fantastic experience. From the moment the class began, it was evident that Chef Mark was a master of his craft. The class was not just about cooking; it was an immersive journey into the heart of Thai cuisine. Chef Mark shared not only his expertise but also his passion for the culinary traditions of Thailand, and it was truly inspiring. The selection of dishes we prepared was nothing short of extraordinary. The step-by-step instructions were clear, and Chef Mark patiently guided us through the intricacies of each recipe. We had the opportunity to explore the flavours and techniques that make Thai cuisine so captivating, from the perfect balance of sweet, salty, sour, and spicy. The class also provided valuable insights into the use of authentic ingredients, and I now have a newfound appreciation for the importance of sourcing fresh herbs, spices, and other essentials in Thai cooking. The best part of the experience was savouring the fruits of our labour! The dishes we created were a sensory delight. Each bite transported me to the streets of Thailand, and I couldn't help but marvel at how the recipes we had learned had transformed into such delicious, restaurant-quality dishes. I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Chef Mark for his patience, expertise, and warm teaching style. It was clear that he was not only an exceptional chef but also a wonderful educator who genuinely cares about his class success. Attending this Thai cooking class was a culinary journey I will cherish forever. I am excited to replicate these dishes at home and share the magic of Thai cuisine with my loved ones. Thank you, Chef Mark, for the unforgettable experience. I look forward to joining another one of your classes in the future.

  • 5/5 from Nick Magry, attended Sep 2022: Sunny was an excellent instructor and gave us insight into the Thai cuisine and its many flavours and styles. The venue had everything you needed and the food we cooked was delicious and easy to follow. I’ve taken home many preparation and cooking tips I can easily use for any recipe.
  • 5/5 from Jane Carter, attended Sep 2022: The teacher was friendly and helpful. We learnt about ingredients and some great food preparation techniques.
  • 1/5 from Hellen, attended Sep 2022: I would prefer leaving zero stars, i bought this as a gift for my partner, a shift worker. Over a long weekend his work times changed, we tried to give as much notice as possible but this business was not interested and would not allow us to reschedule, we provided 4 days notice instead of 7 days. This was an unfair decision and I wont ever use this service again or recommend it to anyone I know
  • 5/5 from David Critchley, attended Jun 2022: The teacher was great very helpful and easy to talk to. The food was excellent and can't wait to try cooking it at home.
  • 5/5 from Veronica Ribbons, attended Mar 2022: Such a fabulous evening enjoying the delicious flavours and fragrances of Thai cuisine. Mark, our chef, was informative and friendly and facilitated a great evening in a great venue. Can't wait to join another evening of cooking and eating with friends!
  • 5/5 from Sally Morrow, attended Nov 2021: Sunny was such a character- funny positive, knowledgeable - can tell he has taught a class or two. Venue was clean and large enough for group, great value for money we would much rather do a class like this as a date night then eat in a crowded restaurant at the moment. I learned so much about Thai ingredients and cooking methods which I’m uncomfortable with but Sunny was very patient and jumped in to help when we needed it. Will be attending these on a regular basis and also telling friends about how great the experience was
  • 5/5 from Anna Mobilia, attended Sep 2021: I had a great experience the other night at the Thai Cooking Class. Chef Sunny our teacher, was very professional and demonstrated how to make the most delicious Thai dishes I've ever had, step by step in a very clean kitchen. We handmade a few Thai pastes that we cooked our Pad Thai, chicken and salad with. After supervised preparing and hands on cooking, we got to eat our delicious Thai food with a glass of wine! Vary generous amount of food per person, we actually couldn't eat all of it and were offered takeaway containers. Recipes included. Fantastic class!
  • 5/5 from Natasha Koekemoer, attended Jul 2021: Sunny was such an amazing teacher. His beaming smile and expertise made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. The recipes that Sunny taught us were delicious and authentic. The venue is easy to locate and well-stocked with what we required. I’d highly recommend taking up one of Sunny’s classes, he’s an amazing chef!
  • 5/5 from Lisa Geer, attended Jul 2021: Lovely class hosted by Sunny, we enjoyed learning the trade secrets of Thai cooking! Thank you heaps Sunny!
