What you'll do
Dip your toes into this year's biggest craft trend at this full-day tufting class! Held in Polisu Art's welcoming studio in North Adelaide, beginners and avid tufters are welcome to come and learn the ins and outs of this mesmeric craft.
Over a full five hours, you will learn how to use a tufting gun, shoot your yarn into the fabric and complete your large (90cm x 90cm) masterpiece ready to use in your home. Not sure you're confident enough? Your friendly teacher will be there to guide you each step of the way and will ensure you leave with a piece you can be proud of.
The design you tufting is totally up to you. Choose to draw freehand on your fabric or trace the outline of a design using the projector at the studio.
Making your tufting work to rugs requires a seriers process including gluing, attaching backing cloth, trimming, and shaving will usually take approximately two weeks after the class. In these processes, basic 1mm thick non-slip backing cloth, white glue, and basic shaving are included in the price, other upgrade options can be as purchased as optional content or added at the store.
Please note:
- Changing appointment time should before 4 days before you come. There will be no refund for canceling or changing appointment time on the day of your appointment.
- If you are unable to join the class, no refund will be issued within 24 hours.
- An additional $40/hour will be charged for exceeding the time limit.
