5.0 (44)Polisu is the name composed of the three most important elements in arts, "point", "line", and "surface". It's not only limited to painting but also reflected in many other artworks. We put together a team of ceramicists and artists to bring you the most enjoyable way to learn pottery, tufting, drawing and other handcrafted works. We host everything from one-off pinch pot sessions to tufting classes. For larger groups, our studio can be booked out for private sessions.

Nora was such a great teacher! Pottery class was so fun in a relaxing and comfy environment. My friend and I already want to go again. I can't wait to see our creations come to life in the kiln! I had the best day.

The studio was very well equipped and had a lovely atmosphere. They provided us with high quality materials. I worked from an reference image and the staff there was able to offer advice and coaching on how to achieve the product I wanted. Very friendly and helpful. My favourite part being able to achieve a product I was happy with through the guidance of the staff there.

The teacher was amazing at explaining the instructions, they were clear and detailed. The materials were all provided and the additional materials made our candles extra special!

Class was a small group which was great as allowed 1:1 time with the staff. All materials were provided and there was a huge range of colours to choose from. They walked you through what to do making it simple and easy with no pressure.

What a great way to spend a couple of hours. Nora was a great instructor who answered all our many questions. I highly recommend this as a gift idea. It's the gift that will keep giving. Also the take away printed photo will be a great reminder for years to come. Thank you

The teacher explained it very well and fully equip. The place is spacious and provide us with aprons, chairs and tools.
It was a small group of class and we chose individually what we will make for the first time. It was fun and relaxing 2 hours; also we got all our picture taken (if you like). The teacher introduced us with some tools/technique to help for the beginner. It’s worth it!

My daughter and I loved this experience. Our teacher made it fun and easy, explaining step-by-step how to make our cups. It was a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely do this activity again.

Nora was a knowledgeable and patient teacher, who made us all feel welcome. She offered friendly and useful tips to support us to make our bears look our best. I would fully recommend this for a fun and creative activity with friends. The facilities and decor were also very cool, and we were provided some lovely photos. Thank you Polisu!

When I arrived I was welcomed by Gin. This was good as I was the only person in the pottery class, he made me feel very comfortable. Gin was open to helping me create a mug that I was wanting to make with ideas from photos I showed him. This is my first attempt at hand built pottery, not glazed or fired yet. Thanks for the experience Gin!

I had an absolute fantastic time learning to create my own tufted rug! The teachers were very kind and helpful and continued to check in with me to see if I needed any help or have any questions. I made friends with all the lovely staff. 10/10 recommend ❤️❤️

Our teacher was patient, organised and helpful. The cost of the workshop felt a little expensive when you reached the end and had a choice of leaving your work on a canvas, finding someone to turn it into a rug for you or hazarding to try it yourself without any training or paying for them to do it for you which was roughly another hundred on top, depending on the detail of your design. Although it was specified on the website, it wasn’t really clear why until you’d made the item. It might be worth having a video demonstration and explanation. It might also be worth having alternative seating, as those I went with were quite tired mid way through and it became hard for them to finish. That being said, she allowed for a little extra time for them, was positive and keen to explain how everything worked as we went. If anything, you understand why it would cost a person at least $100 on top of the tutorial price to turn it into a rug - the time and effort it takes is bodily and mentally exhausting but very rewarding at the end. I loved seeing my final product and knowing how amazing it will look when it’s been turned into a rug and had the edges refined to bring out the details.

Very fun class, patient and helpful teacher, very happy with value we got out of class. Materials were provided and was very happy with the colour selection, came to the class with our own designs and we were able to fulfil those designs exactly how we wanted which was awesome
