  • High: 160-165cm
  • Width: 75-90cm
  • Depth: 65-75cm
Step by step instruction
The tufting frame is made of plywood beams with a cross-section of 35 × 20 mm. The structure is modular
and disassemblable, which makes it easy to transport and store. The frame dimensions are 161 cm in
height, 95 cm in width, and 80 cm in depth.
All parts of the frame are connected using M6 bolts. Each connection is numbered from 1 to 10, and each
assembly part of the frame is marked with a letter. The markings are applied directly to the beams, which
simplifies the assembly process and reduces the chance of mistakes.
The assembly instructions include a large number of photos and diagrams, clearly showing each step. This
allows you to assemble the frame without any special skills.
Tools required for assembly: a Phillips screwdriver and a hex key.
Assemble the frame on a flat surface with enough free space to lay out and fully position all parts.
The package consists of four parts. It is recommended to assemble the frame step by step: first fully
assemble all beams from one package section, and only then move on to the next section.
Part 1 The first package section contains beams A, B, C, and D. Lay them out on a flat surface according to
the photo diagram. Align the beams so that the connection numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 on adjacent beams
match, then connect them together using M6 bolts.
Part 2 The second package section contains beams E and F, which are the extension pieces for the vertical
supports. Attach them to the previously assembled frame at connection points 5 and 6, following the
numbering and photo diagrams.
Part 3 The third package section contains beams H, I, and L, which form the frame support. Connect them
together, matching connection numbers 7, 8, 9, and 10 on the beams, secure with M6 bolts, and then
connect the assembly to beams E and F.
Part 4 The fourth package section contains part G — an MDF panel measuring 95 × 23 cm. This panel plays
a crucial role, stabilizing the frame and preventing side-to-side wobbling, so it is very important to install it
correctly.
After the frame is fully assembled, place it on a flat surface. Position part G with the top edge against beam
D, and the sides against beams B and C. Make sure the MDF panel does not extend beyond the edges of the
beams and is flush with their surface. In the zip package, you will find additional screws — use them to
securely attach part G.
Stability Check and Preparation for Stretching the Fabric 1. Ensure all bolt connections are tightened evenly
and the frame does not wobble. 2. Check that the MDF panel G firmly secures the structure and has no play.
3. Place the frame on a flat surface and gently press on the top beams to confirm that the side and vertical
parts are stable. 4. After confirming stability, the frame is ready for fabric stretching and use in tufting
What you'll need

Hi, I’m Farida – your mosaic art guide in Perth!
I discovered the joy of mosaics 25 years ago when I picked it up as a hobby. It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the process — the colours, textures, and creativity completely captivated me. That passion soon grew into something more, and today I’m lucky enough to call it my job.
I now run mosaic classes for people of all ages and backgrounds — from complete beginners to children, adults, and seniors. Whether you're exploring a new creative outlet or looking for a mindful way to unwind, my classes offer a welcoming space to learn, create, and connect.
My workshops are not only fun and engaging but have also been known to:
  • Develop fine motor skills and finger flexibility
  • Improve focus and concentration
  • Stimulate creativity and self-expression
  • Relieve stress and ease symptoms of anxiety or depression
  • Encourage mindfulness and relaxation
  • Create a supportive, social atmosphere where friendships can blossom
  • Helping others discover the calming and joyful nature of mosaic-making gives me great satisfaction. My goal is to support people in living fuller, happier, and more independent lives — one tile at a time.
