Wheel Throwing Pottery Class for Private Events

Discover the joy of pottery at our beginner's wheel throwing class in Wollongong! Join us at Voart Studio for a fun and creative workshop where you and your crew can learn the art of throwing clay on a wheel and create beautiful ceramic items.

This pottery class is a fantastic option for events such as birthdays, Hens parties, and team building.

Whether you're looking to connect with your colleagues or simply relax and have a good time, our wheel throwing experience offers a perfect blend of creativity and camaraderie.

In this class, you'll have the opportunity to make a wheel-thrown vessel and decorate it with unique textures. You'll also learn how to make creative handles to add a personal touch to your creation.
For groups larger than 8, the class will be split into two groups, group A will wheel throw while group B will create hand built handles and cup dishes and switch.

At the end of the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to take your creation home. If you choose to do so, you can opt for our add-on package which includes cleaning, engraving, glazing, and two firings. Your finished piece will be ready for pickup five weeks after the workshop, serving as a lasting memento of your experience.

Please note that for group bookings, we require a minimum of 8 people and can accommodate a maximum of 16. The class typically runs for 2 hours, with a longer 2.5 hour duration for larger groups. You're welcome to bring your own drinks and nibbles for a private party atmosphere. Payment options can be tailored to suit your needs, including bill splitting if necessary.
