Wildwood Stitch Embroidery Workshop in Sydney

Explore the joy of slow stitching in this relaxing embroidery workshop with acclaimed textile artist Pauline Franklyn. Working onto colourful cotton fabrics that have been block-printed with her Wildwood design, you’ll bring the pattern to life using hand-dyed wool yarns. Pauline will also demonstrate the block-printing process so you can try it at home if you’d like.In this class, you’ll learn a range of embroidery stitches including backstitch, lazy daisy, French knots, chain stitch, and fly stitch. You’ll be encouraged to choose your own colour palette from Pauline’s beautiful hand-dyed yarns and add your personal touch with texture and detail.By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created a unique embroidered piece that can be framed as art or transformed into a practical item such as a needle case, pocket, or decorative insert.This is a morning of mindful making, colour play, and gentle creativity – the perfect way to recharge while learning new embroidery skills in a welcoming studio environment.Please note: All bookings for this workshop are final and strictly non-refundable.
