What you'll do
If your kids loved the Barbie movie, they'll love this fun workshop!
Make polymer shell and pearl earrings or pendant ready to wear home at the end of the day.
Class overview:
- Pick your colours and learn how to prepare and roll your clay.
- Add texture or patterns ready for cutting.
- Cut your earrings or pendant with the shell cutters (or another shape if you prefer).
- Choose your findings and learn how to assemble your finished pieces while the polymer bakes for 20-25 mins.
- Get some ideas on using your scrap clay – if there’s time, cut some extra pieces to bake at home!
- Sand and assemble your baked pieces to wear!
By the end of the class, kids can take home their own unique shell and pearl earrings to wear every day and unleash their inner Barbie!
Duration: Two hours (please arrive 10 minutes early and pick-up is by 3:15 pm).
