3 hours Class size 12 to 40 guests       $120

Celebrate Mum in the most wholesome way possible – by baking fresh, handmade sourdough bread together! Join us for a special beginner-friendly workshop the day before Mother’s Day, where you’ll learn the art of crafting crispy-crusted, tangy sourdough from scratch. Whether you’re gifting her a loaf you made yourself or spending quality time creating something delicious together, this workshop is the perfect way to show your love.

Sourdough, a tradition older than recorded history, is made through natural fermentation, a process that yields a chemical-free, gut-friendly bread that’s as nutritious as it is delicious. In this hands-on class, you’ll meet a sourdough starter, learn how to care for it, and discover the magic of turning simple ingredients into a loaf that’s truly special.

This comprehensive workshop covers everything from ingredient selection and starter care to the science of fermentation and baking. With plenty of guidance and time for questions, you’ll leave with the skills (and fermenting dough) to bake a perfect loaf at home. Imagine waking up on Mother’s Day to the aroma of fresh sourdough - made by you, for her.

Why sourdough, though? It’s not just bread; it’s a labour of love. There’s no better way to show mum she’s the best thing since sliced bread!
