  • 5/5 from Vivienne Cass, attended Mar 2026: This was not simply a cooking class - it was a cooking experience! There was lots to learn from Riki, a great teacher, but it was also fun to then sit down with others in the class and sample the amazing food we'd cooked. Am now inspired to cook with more variety. And am already thinking of doing another class.
  • 5/5 from Mariella Smith, attended Oct 2025: Chef Riki is very talented and gave us lots of useful tips on making the recipes. The class went smoothly and was enjoyable. At the end we got to eat delicious meals we made.
  • 5/5 from Benjamin J Beugels, attended Jun 2025: Was so awesome! Excellent experience, was aimed at a low level of cooking understanding but I still learnt a lot and had a lot of fun!
  • 4/5 from Sonja Gribble, attended Jan 2025: I worked in hospitality in the past so I’m really into cleanliness and health and safety. So I was a little put off using a damp rag to wipe my chopping board after each vegetable I cut, not knowing how clean it was, I would recommend using a clean paper towel instead as some of the cloths had a unpleasant smell to them, so the thought off chopping food on the same chopping board after each wiped with that rag irked me. Didn’t feel like I was actually tort anything as we all had to chop up ingredients so we didn’t actually see how a lot of the dishes were made Not exactly what I expected of this cooking class. I wouldn’t call it a class, it was more off a help cook and eat night out, 6 dishes was a lot to focus on. I think I would have preferred maybe just to learn one or two dishes where the teacher cooks with you and explained step by step while you copy and follow along step by step, so you learn as you go. This class felt like it was a bit all over the place, But surprisingly it all came together in the end, Only felt like we didn’t really learn much. I think a better name for it would have been Cook and Feast the Jewish way Maybe, as it really didn’t feel like a cooking Class. But it did have a nice atmosphere about it, the food was nice and tasty. I always wanted to try traditional Jewish food. Looking forward in trying to cook some of those recipes.

  • 5/5 from Steven Marcuson, attended Aug 2022: My wife and I attended the Jerusalem Street Food Cooking Class with Riki. This was the first time we had attended any cooking class. There were 14/15 of us attending. Ricki immediately put us all at ease with her straight talking Israeli style. We knew immediately we were in good hands. The class was all about participation and everyone was soon chopping and cooking and having a laugh! The foods we created were superb and we all had the pleasure of eating our masterpieces at the end of the evening. We look forward to getting the recipes so we can have a go in our own kitchen. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who is interested in Middle Eastern food. We will come back for other classes.
