What you'll do

Spend a relaxing class learning a new skill to help develop creativity and experience mindfulness in the process of art-making! This class will teach you some basic ink drawing and watercolour skills that can be used as a regular therapeutic practice at home.

This is a mobile class that comes to your home, work or a venue of choice. No experience is necessary! You will be guided step by step to create gorgeous watercolour and ink artworks (or just do your own thing!).

Learn some basics about watercolour and ink applications. Then, have fun experimenting and playing with an array of art materials supplied during your workshop.

This art class aims to teach you a new art skill/enhance prior watercolour knowledge, as well as develop techniques that can be practiced on your own well into the future. By the end of the class, you will have a newfound appreciation for the art form, plus, you'll have beautiful watercolour and ink artworks to take home and cherish.

I love introducing the magic of art-making to beginners and inspiring already creative individuals.

As a child I was an obsessed about drawing and enjoyed creating art in different forms. It took me until my late 20's to begin a Bachelor of Visual Arts which exposed me to many types of art making. Painting and photography became my main passion while I was an art student. When I completed my degree I taught a variety of classes to first year students - here began my joy of teaching basic art principals and techniques.

After 15 years of teaching a range of art classes in adult education (TAFESA & WEA) and running private art groups for adults and seniors in aged care, I started my mobile Art Party business - Hey Monet. My aim is to provide fully guided and customised art experiences to private and business groups that are relaxing, rewarding and fun.
